1. I always fold socks together
lay them flat together then turn them inside out all the way so they lay flat in the drawer.

is there a better way?

3. Fold. Rolling them seems to stretch out the elastic faster.

11. Haruka nails it
When you've got calves as skinny as mine, the slightest weakness in sockal elastic is cause for alarm. :scared:

6. Leave them for the sock gremlins
sock gremlins can be nasty little creatures ... but don't feed them after midnight.

18. my sock gremlin looks like this

She apparently feels that since there are no mice in the house, she has to protect us from those pesky socks. She "catches" them and brings them to me on my bed as tribute.

Either that or she's playing sock puppets.

10. I lie each pair flat against each other, then turn one inside out
thus folding the other inside it, and roll it down as far as the heel. Having parcelled the pair up thus, I then throw it in the drawer.

I learned it from my Mum. :)

13. Fold socks? Hayull, no.
I throw them in my little plastic clothes holding dealio and try to match them up when I need a new "pair." Notice I put "pair" in qotation marks? Yeah, they may or may not match and if they don't show, I don't care.

This thread should be interesting.

That works just fine. It is a system too. Most people just do not realize that.

20. Micro ball them!
Just fold the tops over each other about 1 inch, leaving most of the pair dangling. Avoids the streching and better than folding!
