Okay. I guess technically I'm not always a lurker because I do post often, but there are many nights when I just read what others have had to say and add nothing because I think they have it covered or I just don't have much to say at the time (because I am already tired sometimes by the time I get online.) :hi:

And over in GD, for the most part, I am definitely a lurker. I have never seen so many deleted posts as I have in the past few weeks. All someone has to say is the word "Israel" nowadays and *poof*, it's 80,000 degrees in the thread. I'm at a loss. I did want to write an editorial about my views on that issue and ask people to just read it and think about it, but I can't really expect them to do that, now can I? I mean, the National Weather Service has already issued a heat advisory for my area for this entire week. Damned if I'll voluntarily turn that kind of heat on. :scared:

Yeah ... I know. I used to lurk more often than I do now. Six years of mostly bad news with a few glimmers of hope now and then that just get dashed in the end (hard to take). I don't read the news as often as I used to either.
