Share Some Cold Inspiration..Please! We Are Burning Up
Well the air conditioning repair man left and the verdict is in. The old A/C unit has to go. Its not working (for the most part) and we could fry an egg on the kitchen floor if we wanted to with this midwest heat wave. So I thought I would get on DU and get some cold vibes our way. It can be anything...a snow story..pictures. Just some freezing, ice hanging off the roof mojo for everyone. I am sitting here thinking about the first snow and what it looks like falling softly to the ground while I sip some hot tea in my favorite flannel something or other. Thanks guys! I am cleaning our office and I just need some inspiration. Its so dang hot!:scared:

5. Bless You My Friend
I share the same thoughts on winter. Let it be howling and snowing outside. I love it. Shoveling snow is a piece of cake compared to this stuff in the summer. THANK YOU! I will gaze at the picture with longing and start my cleaning once again. :)Will Pitt took a great pic by the way.

7. I am definitely in agreement. I can't stand the summer
well, I DO like the fact that the kids are home from school, so we can sleep a little later, and they love going to the pool and stuff, but the heat is just unbearable to me. I had to go grocery shopping Sunday and needed a bunch of heavy stuff, like Milk, bottled waters, etc. and I was so tired afterwards, I needed a nap.

Give me a cold winter's night in front of the fire any day of the week.

15. WOW
That is amazing. Thank you for sharing. It (as corny as it sounds) has honestly helped get my mind off the heat. I think we need a daily cooling off thread for the duration of the summer. It might help. At least for a short while. :)
