by either the WWF or the NWA (can't remember who Dr. D was with at the time) to settle.

It's "funny" as I hate Stossell and they were open handed slaps. Still, watching a 275 pound pro wrestler physically assault a much weaker, smaller man takes the funny out of it.

In any case I need to find the video clip of Hulk Hogan headlocking Richard Belzer (Spelling) again.

Edit: Got damn I hadn't watched that video in awhile.. I forgot how hard the smack really was. Definitely not funny . . but it wasn't the only incident of protecting the business ever. (NOte: I'm not excusing it mind you) I remember one British Wrestling Story (Can't remember who was invovled) in which in response to said question wrestler threw reporter face first into a heater . . .(Been awhile since I heard the story) . . not to mention the Richard Belzer incident which if I find it I'll post.

Heck the Vader Kuwait episode is also a perfect example of a wrestler reacting physically to said fake questions.

3. Stossel's a dumbshit.

First of all, Dr. D is a short-fused, redneck bastard that should just be avoided like the plague, especially after a match. The guy was an asshole to fellow wrestlers. I don't get Stossel's assumption that he'd be in a civil discussion with a guy like that.

Second of all, you DON'T go up to a pro-wrestler and casually dismiss what he does to put food on his table, with full-on snark, as "fake". These guys never see their family, don't get paid near as much as we think they do, live from day to day, have no medical insurance, etc and then have to answer questions about the whole "fake" thing from smarmy Repuke jerks such as Stossel.

Supposedly, he was back there uncovering "secrets" about pro-wrestling! Wow John, because even the most mentally addled moran didn't know it was theater!! Thanks, you're really teaching us something there, Keebler.
