You know the one time I was in Alaska (in 92), it was 91 at Denali!! There definately was a heat index there that day!!

20. That is very unusual...
I think it's been close to 80 this year a few times in the Interior, but generally it doesn't get much hotter than mid-70s. This summer has been refreshingly cool, after the last few have been on the warm side. I've lived in Anchorage for 31 years, and I don't think it's EVER gotten to 90 here because we're close to the water.

27. According to wunderground.com, Saturday will be
a high of 85, and a low of 68- partly cloudy. A welcome break, to say the least, lol. Friday we are looking at possible thunderstorms (yes!) and wunderground won't have info on Sunday until tomorrow.

northeast of Indianapolis (Marion Area). I grew up in Northwest Ohio, and have been thru Indiana three times in 45 years!! Only stayed there once.

46. Right now according to NWS,
it's 82 degrees and the heat index is 85. It got up to 95 degrees and the heat index was 108 degrees, according to NWS. But, according to our thermometer it was as high as 100 degrees.
