3. Oh. Now I see what you wrote.
I couldn't understand how 94 degrees could melt a donkey.

I feel for you. During our recent 12 day stretch of heat (CA) none of our outdoor thermometers ever registered a temperature as low as the official one for our area. We have 3 outside, one always in shade, so I DO know what it feels like. Stay as cool as you can.

12. Temp read 101 in my car just a bit ago,
I swear, this is absolutely awful.

This time last year, our A/C in our sunroom went out and we were frying on the first floor.

This year, the poor sucker is running 24/7.

Hope it breaks soon.

Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 06:19 PM by petersond
I know the whole month of July, we had heat index of 100 degree's plus, with real temps being 95-104...its been murder I tell you. I had to help my inlaws move into their new home, and that process, in this heat, was exhausting...it seemed, that after every two trips I made carrying boxes, or whatever, I had to sit down for about 5 minutes to get my energy level back up. And, I am by no means, lazy, or weak, and I'm very hard working, and hardheaded when it comes to phsycial tasks, but this heat, really puts a number on me...

on edit: had July, as June, sorry...:)

22. Yeah, I know
and I did take it easy. I was use to extreme heat from my years living out in Sacramento, it just amazes me how easily heat does me in...:)
