A corny apology I just sent to a friend

I brought up a sensitive subject with my best friend yesterday and she got a little ticked off because it was none of my business, really... I hope this works:

i am sending this as a peas offering for my buttinskyness yesterday....

i wasn’t sure if you’d want to discuss it or not, so i broached the subject to see what would turnip.... i peppered you with questions but you didn’t want to parsley. you got my gourd and i was squashed, got beet red, artichoked up and now i know.....

i really didn’t mean to start a rhubarb or try to trick you into a leek....(i am very sorrel if that was too corny to cut the mustard.)

peas forgive me, i have bean a bad boy and am cress fallen. i cayenne believe i did that and i yam quite dissappointed in myself. from now on i shall tread gingerly. you know that i shall always root for you so peas, lettuce remain friends, okra bud?
