It's our nickname for a buddy of ours. I can't remember the joke that started that nickname, but it stuck. And now I'm having a ball that it's in the news.
2. Anyone who's read Gone With the Wind has heard (or read) it
A sugar tit originally was a sweet used to quiet babies. One recipe I found says it's just some butter and sugar tied up in a piece of cloth which the baby sucks on. Hence the name.
Patsy Cline all in a grumpy mood and her mom say "Oh you ol' bawl baby with you lip hangin' down. Mama should fix you a sugar tit". (I think it's sugar water)
