How eclectic are your musical tastes?
If you REALLY like the odd and unusual listen to Al Perry's Clambake:

2. Blessings on you, my dear swag.......
May your sneezing, and, more importantly, whatever is causing it, cease very soon.......

5. I know you will have a lovely time.
I have met one Ohio DUer, and he is a wonderful, if irascible, fellow.

I hope to meet more when circumstances permit.

Best to you, Peggy.

8. Good morning to you, my dear murielm99!
Wellllll.......my family felt that it would be unsafe for a lone white female to be driving cross-country by herself, down unknown roads.......

That there might be significant risk of trouble from strangers........

Who knows? To keep peace in the family, I gave in...........

12. Okay.
I do that. So do my girls. We have cell phones, and stay in touch with other family or friends. My girls travel everywhere, often alone. Should we be more worried than we have been?

13. Nah......
I don't think so........in this day and age, with cell phones, you are never far away from help.......

Keep your windows up, and your doors locked, and travel in daylight............

Those are the commonly suggested safe driving rules for women.....

I think you are most likely safe!

Not to worry.........

14. I could certainly understand your family's reluctance to have anything
happen to you, but if there is ANY karma in the universe, you CaliforniaPeggy, would be safely conveyed by the envelope of kindness and trust that emanates from your being!!!

7. Try this:
Some heavy metal, disco, some pop, classical, Pink Floyd...

In fact, the only music I detest is "gangsta rap," polkas, most church music and opera.

10. You would LOVE the Clambake
In fact you would love KXCI. The daytime music mix has deteriorated badly in recent years as the station (stupidly, IMO) tried to grow its way out of some financial difficulties by going more "professional" and more "mainstream" (read: repititous and bland) but it is still better than any commercial radio.

11. Not at all
I only like one note (G flat). All other notes are crap. Sometimes I just listen to the tone for hours straight, other times I like it broken up by periods of silence.

20. Thursday evening 6pm Arizona time
Matt Moon's Global Rythym Radio. One of the best shows on the station. He has a great selection too - and has bought most of it on location - he is a traveler. Just got back from Africa and has been playing a lot of his new stuff lately.

Hispanic/Latin programming all Wednesday evening.

Cajun/Zydeco Sunday evening, Americana/alt country/old country Tuesday evening, Electronica - all types Friday nights, Blues Saturday evening.

Late night is probably some of the best, wish they would do some kind of "day/night" reversal expirament so I could hear those shows! heh heh I rarely make it past 11 - 11:30.
