I have 6 kitties to raise you (and some parent kitties)! I don't know what do do with all these creatures. They're beginning to eat me out of house and home, but then again, they keep the mice away, so..........

2. My daughter's home
and fighting with her brothers and calling me every fifteen minutes just to see how long it'll take me to tell her to quiddit already.

I have a houseful of happy children.

I have a roof over my head and food in my kitchen.

I have a job that I love. Most of the time.

I have all of you.

3. I don't have to go on another church trip for at least a year
Edited on Tue Aug-01-06 12:09 AM by tinfoil tiaras
church trips=anti gays galore. :(

Why must christianity be pushed on me?!?! The more she (mom) pushes it on to me, the more I'll be turned off by it. Hell, i don't care if it's liberal christianity. At my supposedly "liberal" church, there are so many anti-gay people it isnt funny....

8. What is your church?
I left Catholicism at 16. Best thing I ever did.

(after looking at everything under the sun theology wise, I ended up a Unitarian)

10. Baptist
...

yeah. i know. my mom claims that it's "different" from all the other Baptist churches in town. And in some ways it is. But practically everyone there thinks that homosexuality is "nasty", a mental disease that can be changed, unnatural, "gross", etc. :(

12. It'll be like beating a dead horse
Southerners are stubborn people-i should know, I'm pretty darn stubborn myself, and not easily changed. Remember how long it took for them to accept that blacks were not subhuman and "unnatural"....

4. My dear MoseyWalker!
What's good in my life today?

Well........I had a great conversation with a good friend today!

And I'm getting ready to go back east to the Ohio DU meetup next weekend!

I'm in good health, and my weight is pretty good!

And the weather isn't as freakin' hot right now as it has been!

So, yes, I'm happy! And I'm glad that you're happy too! :bounce: :bounce:

7. Yes
Even the empty parts of my life don't feel as echo-filled empty as they have. Things could be better, much better, but it's still good and I'm doing okay. :-)

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go 'round and 'round...sure as hell got off that merry-go-round John spoke of, too.

13. don't you know that merry go rounds are dangerous?
i think it was the FDA or the FCC or the USDA or somebody who long ago said that merry go rounds are very, very dangerous.

Stick with the teeter totter. You'll be much happier!

14. Danger is my middle name
And it's a real hassle, 'cos when I book an air ticket I always end up getting strip searched by tall Scandinavian flight attendants named Ingrid.. :-(

17. I'm still unemployed, but had a good interview last week
and a so-so one today. There's still hope.

On the plus-side, being Mr. Mom is kinda fun.
