Ever get drunk and assert things you didn't really believe?

I'm not talking blotto-drunk here--although I know my friends would have serious words with me if I had made, say, antisemitic remarks in such a state.

The person who inspires this question seems to indicate that he was aware of what he was saying when he said it, even though he claims not to believe what he said.

So...anyone else ever find themselves in a similar situation?

1. I'd say I've been known t o do that both sober and under the influence.

Sometimes it's entertaining to provoke a discussion that leans in a particular direction, and then swith that direction once you're well into it.

To give an example: today I told my colleague that the Jewish Communist Traitors at the New York Times endorsed that hippie Lamont.

Now, do I believe this about the NYTimes? No, but I thought it was serving of my larger point.
