9. kinda
25 years.
but then, my first husband had a bad habit of twisting the corner of his mustache, and sometimes had to shave it off when it got too holy. i hated his upper lip.
so, i figure it is just as well.

6. I can recall the first time my, now ex-hubby shaved...
my daughter was about 2. She watched him shave (he was full bearded) and kept stroking his face saying "Daddy? Daddy?"

It suits some men better than others.

But...mostly...I like it.

Unless I don't.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I'm one of those guys that can only grow like 4 hairs on my face. I shave them off once a month, if that. :D

13. It depends on the guy and the hair
Very few men can pull of mustaches, but those that can, are very sexy. More men can pull of goatees, Van Dyke's, soul patches, or full beards. I voted "eh" but I'm generally in favor of it, if it looks good. Mustaches can look good but generally look creepy, beards can look good but can also look unkempt.

14. Understand what hair is for.
Protection. Physiologically and, as a matter of evolution, it is there to protect the body from blunt traumas. The hair grows where the body needs protection.

You are obviously speaking in terms of "fashion." LMFAO, GIRLY MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

20. Mustaches scare me badly and I don't know why.
If a guy has a full beard with a mustache, I see him is more of the cuddly type, but the mustaches alone always seem to frighten me and I don't trust them. I may need some form of hypnotherapy to ever know why that is.

Goatees are kinda cool.

36. Yeah, come to think of it they all pretty much do.
I have yet to meet one who doesn't. A friend of mine became a cop and never had a mustache before that. After, he grew one. I never understood that. I catch your drift about the lady ones too. They have a little too much testosterone form all that cop stuff they do, lol. :sarcasm:

28. Oh, I have to shave every day. I grow facial hair, just not all over.
It comes in quite thick under the chin, all along the jawline...but it's spotty and anemic in the moustache/soul patch area.

Maybe I should go Amish.

You've got far more than I could ever hope for, it sounds like.

I get a few thick black hairs on my chin and a dusting of baby fine really light hairs above my lip, and that's it.

Not because of how it looks, but because when I shave I bleed profusely and have stubble again in about half an hour. So a trimmed beard is better than bloody stubble, IOW.

31. I'm a facial hair supporter
I usually think a guy looks cooler with facial hair if I've seen him both w/ it and w/o it. However, I'm not attracted to guys so I can also understand why many women aren't into it. (The fact that parts of the man's face are covered, it's scratchy, etc., etc.) I'd grow facial hair if I could but mine is too patchy so I just keep it clean-shaven, other than my sideburns that go a little past the bottom of my ear but don't really show up anyway since I have fairly long hair. If men can grow facial hair, my vote is to go for the full beard/mustache, as to me it's the coolest look. (I've never really gotten into the whole "soul patch" look, though- no offense to any male DUers sporting it. Some men can pull it off, but most just cause me to assume they're guys who want to grow facial hair but can't grow any decent facial hair besides some scruff on the chin!)

My ex had a beard, and I loved it. But I DON'T love creepy, long, nasty beards or mustaches or goatees, and I don't like handlebar mustaches or Fu Manchu looks. :scared:
