NEED HELP!!!!! - Window Decorating Dilemma.........

help.

My windows are 8 1/2 feet wide. At the top of the window there is crown moulding (?) (that goes around the entire room) The crown moulding curves slightly inwards.

Thing is, how does one put up brackets for draperies? I can put brackets on either side of the window (where there's wall) but I would need another bracket in the middle of the window, thing is, there's no wall there.

what to do? do I need some kind of special brackets or curtain rods? is there some kind of rod I can get that can be supported by only two brackets?

I'm at a loss....never had windows this wide before. :(

3. those are the windows that cornice boxes were made for

they are pretty easy to make and if you can match up the crown moulding on the cornice box it will look seamless with the wall. then you hide all the drape hardware in the box
