I am EXHAUSTED.

Baby blm (3yo) was up from 1:30 -4am last night. Her temp went to 103. We had just been to the doctor earlier in the day and he didn't see any signs of infection, just a regular flu.

Good luck to all the moms and dads dealing with sick kids. This flu season seems like it's going to have staying power.

I have a five-year-old and twin three-year-olds. This time of year is just wonderful for spreading "the gift" that keeps on giving.

I remember those long, long nights. Thankfully we lived through them, my boys are both about grown, one is at the university so I am on the downhill side of mothering. Good luck, try to get a nap. I will send some energy your way, you will need it.

7. Ours is 2 1/2 - so far so good

Been to the doc hereself with a sore throat and some stuffiness, but okay for now.

It's usually about January - February our whole family's butt gets kicked.

Hope she feels better real soon.

As a mom I have had some luck with a homeopathic remedy when my kids get the flu called oscillicoccum (sic?) Some mainstream stores have ben known to have it in their flu section. It's so sad when the itty bitties are sick. Best of luck.

when the fever is so high that your own anxiety is highest. They are so weak then that you barely recognize them as the same child who was just running in the pile of leaves a few days ago.
