My Ex is driving me craaaazy....Ugh
He keeps calling to tell me how he doesn't ever want to talk to me again, over and over...He crys, he tells me he's suicidal...I've done everything I can to help him, but nothing works...I'm so tired of this. He's been my best friend for 15 years now, and I miss him...But, I can't deal with this... x(

2. Do you like it when he calls?
Otherwise, you would get a protective order or file charges, or something - - - whatever is available in your state. Or, you wouldn't answer the phone.

Let go, BB.

Of course you are scared.
Your ex might commit suicide and you might be tempted to blame yourself.

Don't do that.

You keep talking to him and putting up with him. That is quite an investment.

I hope both of you live long and happy lives.

Ignore his drama. Don't even acknowledge it.

When he acts nice, then talk to him

He should get the message

15. He's not your friend. Not anymore.
You need to cut it off, kiddo. Trust me on this. You're not doing yourself or him any favors by continuing to listen to him.

And if I recall correctly, there were some other factors that should tell you to cut off contact with him, yes?

(See, I CAN remember things now and again, if they relate to someone I like.)

22. You posted an absolutely gorgeous picture of yourself at age 18 or so
some time ago, and I complimented the photographer. You replied about him, and mentioned incarceration, I think. Or something else equally unpleasant.

Selective memory. Isn't it great? You, I remember. I'm damn tired as well, and hope this gives you the info you're looking for.

in the future. Happens to all of us.

Get some sleep, m'dear. Sleep heals all. You can wonder and worry about it again tomorrow, but for now, head for bed, OK?

I'm gong to do the same. Perhaps we'll meet in the universe of dreams.

I once had to have my best friend pretend to my girlfriend to get rid of a stalker. After she did that for me, she won the title of a the best straight girl a lesbian could have.

31. He's calling to not talk to you, and letting you know he's suicidal
Being manipulative or not, when someone claims to be suicidal, I take it seriously.

You don't have to talk with him, or be involved in any way beyond calling 911, or whoever should be called, to inform them that he's claiming to be suicidal, and where he can be found.

Other than that, there's nothing you can do, BB.
