You know how you can buy a movie on DVD and watch it over and over again?

Well, that's marriage.

Now we all know that DVDs have "bonus features" that keep people entertained. Of course, they aren't as effective as the4 movie itself.

If the price is low enough, people will buy it.

But all those things get people to buy.

What makes people keep watching?

Keeping things interactive.

And that's why interactive movies don't exist. It gets confusing trying to wrap all the possible plot outcomes into one production.

2. Beg to differ there friend
My marriage, and in fact most marriages I know aren't like a "movie on DVD and watch it over and over again?"

Frankly my marriage has grown and developed with time, and like a fine wine, it has gotten much better. Other marriages that I know also grow and develop, some like mine, some into bitter, twisted, hateful relationships that it is best to get out of. And some simply grow apart.

People, whether single or apart, aren't static or caught in time like a movie on DVD. We all grow, evolve, develop. And that is what makes people, and relationships interesting.

3. A hole in your analogy
Sorry, Hypnotoad, but...

"The tyranny of Hollywood — in which the destinies of characters are determined by seasoned movie professionals—finally comes to an end with the DVD of Final Destination 3 (R, 93 mins., 2006) and its ''Choose Their Fate!'' bonus feature. At various points during the horror sequel, the action pauses and the viewer is asked to decide what a character should do next." (more...)

Great Caesar's Ghost, it's Choose Your Own Adventure for the video crowd! (And that just revealed how dang old I really am...)
