From the ridiculous to the sublimely ridiculous. According to USA Today fans of former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff who have recently had their hopes of him in panto scuppered, should not be too downhearted.

For the Hoff, as we must now call him, who recently dropped out of Wimbledon’s pantomime, is planning David Hasselhoff The Musical. Yes, apparently, he has written a self-titled musical about himself, for himself and according to the US publication it is penned “with the guys who did Chicago”. Presumably, that’s the show rather than the city - although while he’s at it, he could always have a go at getting the Windy City renamed - David Hasselhoff The City.
