Man Gets Prison For Videotaping Michael Jackson

LOS ANGELES -- One of two men who admitted secretly videotaping Michael Jackson as he flew to Santa Barbara to surrender in his child-molestation case was sentenced to eight months in prison.

Prosecutors said Arvel Jett Reeves, owner of Executive Aviation, an air maintenance service, must then spend six months at a halfway house that offers drug and alcohol rehab.

A judge said co-defendant Jeffrey Borer, owner of XtraJet, which operated the plane, will be sentenced in September.

The men admit they bought and installed two digital video recorders with the help of another person, and shot footage of Jackson and his lawyer as they flew from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara in November 2003.

The plea agreement said the defendants hoped to sell the recordings for "a large sum of money."
