My new Prius car kicks ass!

I've already had someone with a big truck ask me at a gas station if I wanted to trade.

Averaging 43MPG. I fill up my 11 gallon tank every couple of weeks and it takes me 450 miles.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

1. my favorite car as well
Yea when I mathematically figured out how much I'd save in the long run on driving I lept at the oppertunity to buy one myself. It was nice, they just happened to have 2 on the lot so I was able to bypass the wait list. Its a fine car I agree, thats for sure. Careful in the winters though, the defroster for the windshield is rather weak so prepare to scrap!

43mpg is a good start, give it a couple weeks and you should have the skill to easily do 55mpg. anticipation of events 200-250feet down the road will really help you maximize the hybrid syngergy drive.

Like if you see the light turn red down the road take your foot off the accelerator and glide the rest of the way doing it slowly enough to not have to come to a complete stop. This really makes urban driving efficent.

2. How long did you have to wait for it?
I'm seriously thinking about getting one when my Saturn dies.

11. About 7 months, but....

...they came to be with "upgrades" about three times that I could have bought right away. I waited for the stripped down version that I wanted.

4. Good for you!
My husband bought one a year ago, and he loves it!

He was able to get the stickers that allow him to go in the carpool lane by himself......

And that makes him even happier!

I just got the hybrid Camry too.......Toyota sure knows how to build cars!

6. I had the choice, a 4 cylinder Honda Accord, or a Prius.....
     I bought the Honda. I love it but, I don't get real good mileage with it. Wish I would have bought the Prius. This was last Fall.

23. Um...that's Prius Club, not Fight Club...lol
We get to talk about Prius Club, and operation mayhem for us just consists of laughing at Hummer drivers.

It's a pity there are so few really high mileage cars in the US.

Seriously, if I could afford a Prius I would get one in a heartbeat. My sister has one and she loooooves it.

Happy for your happiness, though!

I really am enjoying the car so far. I like doing the "charging..." moments when I brake.

:woohoo:

And you know you can drive my car anytime...

25. They run quiet, too. Not like those diesels.
I hate it when I am next to a big diesel Ram 3500 4X4 at the stop light and can't even hear the radio in my car - with the windows up!

Aarrrrgggghhhh!

Nice car.
