to thin out some of your overpainting. Adding glaze is great for mixing with the paint colors for your finishing colors, but it does dry quickly, as do acrylics. The floater mix (craft stores carry this, comes in small bottles) is great way to give you a little more time to move your paint around.
Do you have a color wheel to help you decide on the mix of colors for different tones and shades?
In painting, it's generally best to do the light colors last, especially for any highlighting. But, hey! These are your paintings, and your personal technique and touch :)
Good luck and have fun! :hi:
on edit: In using the acrylic wall paint, use a broad natural bristle wall brush, and paint it on thinly in several layers (dry in between...it will dry quickly), so you don't have too think of a base that may cause probelms in doing the overpainting of the artist acrylics you plan on using.
Hope you have a wide variety of fairly decent artist natural bristle brushes on hand. Keep water dish and damp rag at hand.
Feel free to PM if you have questions about painting or your design ideas. :hi:
