I've figured out the root cause of all the troubles in the middle east...
and it's not about politics or religion, the reason why people have been fighting in that part of the world for thousands of years is because it is so damn hot there. Think about it hot days are always to blame for trouble, I mean how many race riots happened in December? It was like 100 degrees yesterday, I was outside for a total of 5 minutes and when I came back in, I was like a raw nerve...I would have cold cocked a nun if she looked at me wrong. Also look at the Nordic countries, there hasn't been any trouble since the Vikings, even then they weren't fighting in the winter. They were huddled around the yule log getting hammered on mead...nobody likes fighting in the winter.

So I propose that everyone abandon the middle east and move to Sweden; home of blonde chicks, universal healthcare and Ikea...damn I'm a genius...quick somebody nominate me for the Nobel Peace Prize. If I win, I'll use the prize money for a DU pizza party!

1. You may have a good point.
We're having a bit of a heat wave here in NYC that is expected to last until next Sunday. I'm already cranky. x(

4. Is Germany considered a Nordic country?
If so, I recall they have caused a bit of trouble within the last hundred years.

if it is, then it is some great coincidence or it just seeped into my consciousness without my knowledge
