I'm in love and I never thought it would happen. I spent my entire weekend snuggling with the big guy and bought tons of stuff for him today (no one has yet call to claim him).

I'm in love with Abbott!!!!!

6. falling in love with cats

I can remember falling in love with my first cat. It was ridiculous. I had pictures of her all over my office and as my computer wallpaper, too. I would go home at lunch to be with her and I couldn't wait until five rolled around so I could get out of there and be with her then, too. I wrote endless amounts of cute stories about her and sent them to everyone I knew. Oh and the digital pics--enough to fill a couple CD ROMs. Christmas cards, Easter cards, Halloween cards--yep, you guessed it; all featured my cat.

Pretty soon no one heard from me anymore because all communications were now being written by the cat. Really I was writing them but I had now adopted her viewpoint and if you wanted to hear from me, you had to play along with it.

So enjoy--it's one of the great love affairs of human/felinekind.
