Tree frogs are taking over my pool! It's so cool.
They first showed up a few days ago. Tonight we have about 10 of them sitting around the edge of the pool. They're not even scared of people; I can go right up to them and they'll keep croaking. I'm just worried about the chlorine hurting them if they jump in. Amphibians are super-sensitive to chemicals.

1. I hear tree frogs in my yard, occasionally, but I've never seen
them. I have a healthy toad population around the house and they've been very vocal the last couple of days due to the rain we've had. I saw a blue tailed skink in my flower bed last weekend. First time I've seen one of these.

2. We have plenty of toads and the occaisional leopard frog too.
A bunch of salamanders, as well. There's a swampy area and a stream in the woods behind the house.

5. Yup, he's got a huge sac.
They're barely 2" long though.

6. It's a small above-ground pool.
It's not really suitable for swimming. I basically just float around on a float.

8. i think they're fine
They probably can't hatch eggs there but frogs hang out in my parents pool all the time and we don't find dead frogs.
