Something very wierd happened today at the Bengals vs 49ers game
I was listening to sprorts talk on am radio today and heard Saddam was captured. It didn't mean shit to me infact it's only going to make things wors in my opinion. Because people that were "on the fence" so to speak will now want to join in the slaughter of our troops. Since they no there's no way Saddam will be coming back they're going to fight off the occupiers without any fear of consequences. Anyway I was with my little sister because I was taking her with me to the game today. I told her what's going to happen. At first she didn't believe me but after I told her who I was basing my info on she believed me. Anyway I parked in Northern Kentucky at the Hooters on the Ohio river because that's where a ferry leaves to take you to the stadium. Because this section of the country is the midwest capitol of fascism. Fox "news" Sunday was on the screen and Saddam's, Joe Stallon wannabe ass, looking like a bum, getting a check up. Eventually a pregnant waitress came over and took our orders. I ate then left on the boat and went to the stadium to get our seats. At the stadium I sat behind two West VIrginian men who talked about how they're annoyed with Bob Byrd. I said I liked Byrd and they explained how he was in the Klan. I knew about him being a former KKK member but I said that's better than having current one's like we do in office. They agreed with that statement. I told them about what it's like to live under Bob"shaft"Taft and they knew about him. They agreed that Bob Byrd was much better compared to him:D Anyway about 15 minutes before kickoff too stupid too be president came on the jumbotron in the stadium in which the crowd either sneered or cheered when * was on the screen. It was very Orwellian "Stand by for a message from the information of truth" feeling to it. Bush basicly talked through his dry drunk, coke fried, ignorance to tell everyone including the Iraqi people that this is a victory for "freedom". Anyway everyone laughed including me at the picture of Saddam in his current edition. Anyway during the game I explained to the WV's about how Saddams capture won't do shit to stop troop death. When they asked why I told them I knew someone that retired in millitary intelligence(no lie I do). I told them about the three groups in Iraq that want their own country and they'll take it out on our guys if they don't get what they want. The WV's said basicly who gives a fuck what they do with their land as long as they don't fuck with us. I then said "I wouldn't shed any fucking tears if they executed him" to se how they would react. One of them said "No don't kill him let him break rocks. Death is too good for him." I thought this was great but then I compared it to Shawnee tribal practices. Which is basicly "There are many thing's worse than death." And the WV's agreed. I just had to share this with someone:)

1. 3 groups in Iraq that want their own country
And this is the message which bush and the boot brigade are not telling the people. Your retired MI guy is right. Civil war is a real possibility.

BTW, I read the al Jazeera story on the capture which indicated that although the Kurds were very instrumental in capturing Saddam, whom they hate with a passion, they were not given credit by the U.S. for their help. I'd just like to know when we're going to stop shafting the Kurds and when they're going to stop bending over and taking it from the U.S.

when the civil war will happen? If you're a Kurd and one of your biggest enemy's was just taken out, how would you feel? I'd say you'd feel this is the best oppertunity to get your own country and you bet your ass we're going to give it all we got. Right now the unfortenate thing is for the the troups is that the three groups feel like this = The AK-74's and 47's are clean and ready. The bazookas are loaded and nastier than ever. You're objective is to kill the jarheads, grunts, flyboys or any other Yankee bastard that is in your way to freedom. Do that until they leave and then you'll truly be a great hero for (enter group name here) that will only die in body but never in spirit:scared:

4. Thanks for sharing that story.
Here's another thing to think about:
Does anyone really think that that pathetic man hiding in a hole was directing the various operations against the U.S. and other coalition forces? Doesn't it seem far more likely that the Iraqis who are bombing military installations in Baghdad and setting off landmines under military vehicles are in truth freedom fighters for their country?

And as you said, Sasquatch, with Saddam captured they don't have to worry about accomodating him any more.

5. As of right now. All Iraqi's are volunteering for hero status I'm afraid
If you have a young person that is stuck in the BCF economy and is considering the millitary as a option. Please tell them that you've got all the time in the world to get a education and just need to focus on surviving for now. Because you don't have much of a future in a grave or worse in a wheelchair:(
