'Real World' cast member arrested in Conn.

CROMWELL, Conn. - A cast member on MTV's "The Real World" was arraigned on a misdemeanor assault charge after police said she bit her boyfriend during a domestic dispute.


Paula Ann Meronek, 25, allegedly bit her boyfriend several times when he refused to let her into their home early Sunday morning, police said.

"I think it was an argument that led to one thing then another," said Cromwell Police Chief Anthony Salvatore. "He attempted to keep her from the house. It got physical and we were contacted."

Meronek, who was arraigned Monday, was charged with third-degree assault, which carries a potential penalty of a year in prison. She is due back in court Aug. 11. No lawyer was listed in court documents.

I'm still a fan of MTV's Real World and this year has been pretty good with the cast in Key West dealing with all of the Hurricanes.The season started soon after Katrina, so they did have to evacuate for Rita and Wilma, which the Wilma episode was amazing because the hotel they stayed in Fort Lauderdale got ripped to shreads and some amazing footage was shown.

Anyhow - this gal is a raving lunatic, probably one of the most far out there ever put on Real World. She admits to an eating disorder (she weighs like 90lbs) plus she's a raving lunatic when she get's drunk. Finally her boyfriend during the show (which isn't the guy in the article) was abusive to her.

3. This weekend on the West Virginia turnpike

I pulled up to the toll booth ( 2 @ $1.25 each) and said to the toll booth lady

"Is Indiana this way?"

She said "Yeah I guess.."

I interrupted her with a loud "THANKS!" ...turned my head forward ....and punched the gas pedal.

This has nothing to do with the thread but I was laughing about it all weekend. My wife is concerned.

4. I thought "The Real World" was supposed to be about KIDS...

...adjusting to the adult world, out on their own, etc., etc. SHE'S 25!!!
