4. Kinda hard when you're laying on the ground after being hit in the head
I know a lot of them were unintentional but seemed like every time someone was on the ground, they were wearing blue.

6. So, how long before Chirac has Zidane sent to the Guillotine?
Maybe do the job on Friday, under the Arc de Triumphe.

8. Zidanes head butt
will go down as great allure. I was nuetral on either team. In the end I started rooting for France.

Congratulations Italy....

I am very sad to see the world cup end.

20. MLS is not the same...
While I hate Fox, I do have the Fox Soccer Channel. The name pisses me off, but that's another post. Anyway, I love watching the Premiership and Bundesliga. I refuse to watch MLS. It's just not the same. There is a difference between Soccer and Football, and I wish people would get that.

10. I thought we agreed not to put spoilers in the subject lines?
It's just out of respect for those who have not watched it yet.

11. Wasn't it live?
I think everyone watched it
at the same time.

I could be wrong, though.

16. Forza Azzurri !!!
By the way, :wtf: was Zizo thinking?! What a terrible way to end a career, red card in the Wolrd Cup final, when he could have given France a better chance of winning in the penalty kicks..but Italy won it :bounce:

17. Congrats Italy
as for Zidane, it is really tragic to see such a great player go out like he did - a totally deserved, un-called-for red card.

19. Italia!!!
What a blast! Not as much fun as the semi against Germany, but still awesome! And we were surrounded by pro-France fans at Costello's Travel Cafe here in Portland. Ah, but they were kind. Most of them, anyway.

OK. So they had to be kind. We had our six month old with us, in his Italia soccer onesie!
