8. Sounds like you're
contemplating a split in a relationship and are asking for help. You have to follow your heart and if the hurt is too much for you to bear, time to move on. I don't know what's going on in your personal life, but don't let anyone use you and ruin your self-esteem. There's always someone out there that will appreciate you.

9. That sums it up
The longer I am with someone, the more it would take for me to leave them. You have an investment and have given so much if you've been with someone a very long time, that ultimately it takes a lot to let go of that. There are certain conditions though that over time can make continuing extremely difficult. On the other hand, when I was younger and dating, I put up with very little before I'd say adios to someone.

11. I agree
It can be hard to end a relationship because of fear of loneliness and there's a sense of failure when you can't work out problems. However, sometimes you have to look at your life and wonder if that's how you want to live the rest of it. The hope that the two of you can work out your problems can be very unrealistic. Sad, but true.

10. Depends
Obviously, you should take leaving a marriage or other long termrelationship involving some kind of committment (like having kids together) more seriously than dating someone for a couple of months. In the case of a committment based relationship, severe or continous abuse or infidelities are causes of leaving immediately. Other issues should be more closely examined to be determined if the problems can be fixed or worked through or if you can learn to live with it. With more casual relationships, you should leave if you want a serious relationship but don't want one with the person who you are with. It will hurt less if you end it sooner rather than later.

14. Dishonesty/lying
Or as a friend of mine put it: "You can make me mad at you, but never make me distrust you."

15. Big issue for me
If you can't trust someone, there's really not any hope of being able to work through problems. I think lies kill love.

19. Too much aggravation
Life's too short to be miserable. And screwin around makes me leave that much quicker. Too many diseases to be able to put up with that.
