SoCal DUers! Is it damn HOT where you are?
The past week here in San Diego has been sweltering with humidity! The servers at work went down as did my desktop PC. And without AC at home,it makes for nasty tempers.
How is it where you are?

3. Boy I'll say...
Orange County has been sweltering the last week... and "sweltering" is a word I never really get a chance to use!

4. So, it's not just LA/Orange County? Damn, the entire SoCal has become
one gigantic sauna.

Yep, it's friggin miserable here in Costa Mesa. Even this close to the beach it's cooking.
Newport Beach had 90 degrees, yesterday.

It's the humidity that's wilting us, combined with high temps.

We SoCal people aren't use to high humidity.

I have no A/C, no insulation ( built before it was required- a rental)
so it's pretty bad.

Hopefully, this will break and move out before the weekend.

Hang in there!

Your not alone in your suffering.:o :hi:

5. Here in Burbank it was miserable - it's better today. Hot but not so humid
How pathetic is it that I looked forward to coming to work everyday so I can sit in air conditioning?

6. It's SO HOT!!
and I'm from the midwest. Ok, this is better than, say, Texas or Nebraska, but still. What is the deal with the humidity?

I was without a/c for about 6 hours this morning and thought I was going to die. I can't imagine not having it at home!

7. Why yes. Yes it is.
But, the Santa Clarita Valley is always hot this time of year. At least the coud cover is gone, so the humidity has dropped. Got the AC on.

8. Oh, yes! And it's hot out here at the beach....
But not as bad as inland....

We are still using our A/C, though......

That helps with the humidity, as well as any noisy stuff coming from outdoors.....
