Assuming you mean the Arizona/New Mexico part of the border. Drops 30 degrees or so at night, though. (and like they say, it's a DRY heat, but it's still pretty damned uncomfortable, especially if you're in BDU's, boots and helmet and toting an M4). Rule of thumb re water: if you don't need to piss, then you need to drink. Keep that in mind and wear sunscreen and you should be okay.
