"Superman Returns" is a snooze-fest.
*Sort of spoiler alert*

It's not a terrible movie, but nothing interesting happens. Superman catches lots of falling things. Lex Luthor is about as realistic a super-intelligent villain as Carrot Top would be playing Julius Caesar. Superman and Lois Lane have no chemistry together. Ultimately, the world isn't saved by Superman, but by Deus ex Machina. Don't see this movie unless you really, really like Superman.

3. The trailer for it literally gives me chills.

But I can imagine that the movie itself wouldn't be anything like that.

Anyone that hasn't seen it can find it here:

Pretty effective use of John Williams' best theme (IMHO), the words of Jor-El, and the sun.

4. nothing interesting?*spoilers*
He powers a damn continent into outer space, while he has shards of kryptonite in his body, and while kryptonite is oozing out of "said" continent.....wow, hard to impress, huh?...:)

I thought Lex was great, and the

"I thought there were two pomerianians" bit was hysterical, theater laughed for a good 30 seconds on that one...;)
