And I have a funny story about this...

My one aunt (mom's sister) is known for not only being a huge racist, but the clumsiest woman on the planet. We're at Christmas dinner at my "good" aunt's house (dad's side=good, mom's side=bad) and my "bad" aunt trips over the single step leading from the hallway into the dining room. She must have stepped over that step dozens of times, but this time, she just tripped. Well, not only did she trip, but she didn't even try to break her fall. She fell like a log, only protecting herself by turning her face right before hitting the ground. She's also doesn't drink, so she doesn't have that excuse.

Anyway, silence falls across the 30 or so people gathered at my aunt's huge dining room table. The silence is broken only by me breaking up into absolute, uncontrollable hysterical laughter. My aunt gets up and screams, "I could have been hurt. That's not funny." I paused my laughter only long enough to say, "But you weren't and so it's funny." I then got up and headed into the kitchen. About ten people silently got up and followed me into the kitchen, where we all spent a good amount of time in hysterical laughter. I was told that I did was everyone wanted to do, but I was the only one snarky enough to do it.

My parents are away and my grandmother fell, so I had to deal with that. Once I was done with that situation, I went downstairs to feed my fish and the fucking filter blew a gasket again. Fortunately, I only lost about 5 gallons out of the tank. It was still a major fucking ordeal. I know Eheims are allegedly the best filters on the planet, but this is the second one that's done this. There's no excuse for this to happen with two $300 filters. After that fiasco, I went back to sleep.
