Please, Boy George, Please...
...Put the makeup back on!

He's gone from this...

To this...

To this...

Former pop star Boy George, whose real name is George O'Dowd, enters Manhattan criminal court, in this March 8, 2006 file photo in New York. A judge in New York on Monday, June 26, 2006, vacated a warrant for the his arrest and told the former Culture Club singer he will let him complete a nonjail sentence stemming from his arrest for cocaine possession. Judge Anthony Ferrara scolded the defendant for not complying with the terms of his sentence and warned, 'I'm not going to give you another chance.' (AP Photo/Louis Lanzano, File)

I sincerely hope George deals with his drug problems, but also, really. How sad that someone who once was so unique now looks like an old frump.

2. Ehh, we'll all look like old frumps one day...
For his age, he doesn't really look completely terrible (he looks a little blotchy, almost like he's been crying or something...but I've seen a lot worse).

As for the cocaine thing...ugh, I've never understood the compulsion to use that particular drug. All I've ever known it to do is make an otherwise tolerable person act like a total asshole for a few hours, and then feel like ass for a few hours afterwards.

3. People like US are supposed to look like frumps
I'm nothing special, but I wasn't an icon to millions of people, who represented nonconformity, in-your-face androgyny, but still a beauty aesthetic and fun.

I personally think he should still do the makeup and wild clothes. It's one thing to update and all, but to just throw in the towel and look like everybody else...why?
