We exchange a few words and then he tells me (you won't believe this... well, maybe you will...) that he watched an older gentleman attempt to pick up a woman in a manner very smooth, very skilled. I can't bring myself to set eyes on him again however. I left it saying I'd call him (because I'm still living with my husband and he is very unhappy when I receive calls from men, despite our situation). At first I was going to make an issue out of it with him but I've since thought - why? I don't care what he does one way or another as long as he stays away from me.

And yes, I'm totally cool. Which is why I'm getting suckered by men left, right and center.
