Lotion or Body Butter?
Actually some body lotions are pretty good - nice and rich, but I'm completely sold on body butter.

I love the way it feels, and the way it blends into the skin so quickly.

8. It's an emollient, thick cream
that moisturizes more than ordinary lotion.

4. Body Lotion from Trader Joe's
It's vegan, no animal testing, etc. It smells good. It's $2 a bottle. What's not to like?

6. I like 'em both.
Usually, I use lotion in the summer and body butter in the winter when I need something richer. Dry skin is a new phenomenon to me---I used to have incredibly oily skin until just a couple of years ago. I don't use lotion or body butter every day all over---I just put it on where I need it, and sometimes I'll skip a day. My legs are usually where it goes.

My favorite lotions:

Back to Basics Coconut Mango Body Lotion---this smells heavenly!
Alba Very Emollient Body Lotion
Savannah Bee Co. Mint Julep Body Lotion---this is the nectar of the gods!

My favorite body butter:

Korres Body Butter in Guava---this is a high-end body butter made in Greece, and it's intoxicating!
Alba Kukui Nut Body Butter---yum!
