Just went to the LA Film Fest to see Al Gore and Inconvenient Truth!
It was great. This is the second time we have seen the film, but it is so amazing, we were thrilled to see it a second time. The free event was held at California Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles, an outdoor venue, and it was packed. We got there two and a half hours early and got one of the few remaining spaced with a good view. A few local officials introduced the direector, David Guggenheim. Then he introduced Al Gore. He spoke for a few minutes. Then Gore introduced Jon Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora, who played 4 songs. Then Gore thanksed them and introduced LA mayor Villaraigosa. Then the movie played.

My pictures didn't come out that great. I kept getting bumped by this lady sitting next to me, so most of my pictures were blurred.

This is David Guggienheim, introducing Al and Tipper Gore.

And here is Al and Tipper Gore.

And if you haven't seen the film yet... SEE IT NOW!!!!

2. The site for the film and information:
www.climatecrisis.net

I found out because someone posted the LA Film Festival info in the California section of DU.

However, on this section if Climate Crisis, there was information about the event I attended tonight. http://www.climatecrisis.net/blog/ Perhaps keep checking the site and see if they announce Gore in your area.

P.S. Also check you CO2 emissions to see how you rate. http://www.climatecrisis.net/takeaction/carboncalculator/#
