2. The latest McSweeney's
Which, I suppose, technically isn't a book but a literary journal, and the latest McS's isn't a literary journal but a cigar box filled with odds and ends: A copy of Bush's dental records from the ANG, a memo from Rumsfeld, a couple old US Army documents including a soldier's guide to the Middle East--it's fucking brilliant.

If you don't read McSweeney's or visit their website, I highly recommend it. It was founded by Dave Eggers, who wrote A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.
