Good Saturday Morning, Crew!

:hi::donut:
Welcome to the Saturday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread! :bounce: We made it through the work week and now it's time for the weekend to begin! :woohoo: I hope you didn't have too stressful a week! My lazy vacation is almost over. x( I have three days left, and it seems like I just started it. Strange how that happens, huh?

So, what are you going to do this weekend? Anything exciting? I hope it's not all chores around the house. Who, me? Well, I was hoping to go to Orlando this morning, but Greekspeak JUST NOW went to bed, so I don't think that's going to pan out. I think I'll use today as a Flea Market day and just enjoy looking. Maybe taking some pictures along the way.

Are you ready to get this weekend started, my crew? It's time to rise and shine! :bounce: So, let's get it going!

I may rent it and watch it just for the fun of it one day. It does have a number of good songs on the soundtrack.

Well then you're in for a treat! :bounce: It was made in 1980 and the acting isn't the greatest, but the soundtrack is awesome and it is funny as hells in places! Gene Kelly on roller skates! Imagine that! If you're not at work, or you have the time, click the link I posted and watch the video. It's just taken right from the movie so you can get a feel for the whole thing!

...hope you've enjoyed your vacation, and have had plenty of rest. The flea market sounds like a great thing to do. I'm going to the farmer's market tomorrow to see what the first crop of tomatoes look like. Nothing like them in the summer! They're even better in late July.

And plot the end of the world.

34. It's a nice place, and has lots of natural stuff... if you like nature,
everywhere has it's own little niches of goodness.

Btw, the sycophant to the RW slush channel (equal to the most RW we have) is running on its "Oh no!" current affairs program a story about gay marriage. The line they used was "People trying to live ordinary lives but bieng denied their rights" :) I thought it was cool.

Yeah, everybody's in an uproar because the hommasexuals want to get married. Because, you know...if we could get married, armageddon would promptly ensue.

But the point of the RW thing was that they were actually supporting gay marriage.

44. The main difference is the Aussie indifference to religion.
(Except some Muslim/Terrorist posturing by fools, and of course our leader blocked gay marriage, but aside from that...)

The thing I was most struck by was the atheism thing. Nobody CARES about anyones religion. (In fact, bieng overly Christian is used as an insult in politics.... but the biggest political insult of them all is "you are trying to Americanise the health care system")

24. I used to LOVE going to the flea market.
They have all sorts of stuff you can't get anywhere else. :D

Thanks for the smile ... I'll try to get better at ONCE. Tell that to my body. I'm thinking maybe it's rebelling against all the overwork from the past two months. The only way I'll stop is if it makes me, and it's doing that. It couldn't be that bug bite making me feel sick, right? I mean, my finger isn't swollen or anything. I still haven't found out what it was.

I do have to get to the store today and buy some chicken for the cats and grind it up. They've been eating me out of house and home and their rabbit isn't going to last long enough for the order to get here this week. I would really hate to give them commercial food for more than a day or two, especially since they're doing so well. Anyway, maybe I can get that over with early and rest when I get back.

I collect the old 60's and 70's rotary phones (remember them?) and with the exception of eBay, flea markets are the only place to find them. No, it couldn't be the bite. If it were, your finger would be red, swollen and hurt like hells.

I hope you can get your errands done early and get back so you can rest and take a nap. If you're not feeling well, you need to do that.

31. Yeah, I remember.
My parents had one until just a few years ago. Things would have to be REALLY broken before they'd replace them. What do you do with them, just put them on a shelf? Do they have to work?

I didn't think it could be the bite. Just coincidence. I know I need to rest and will definitely do that. Harleykid might come over today, but that won't matter. She's perfectly happy lounging around.

The horses went on a trip for the weekend and aren't in the pasture. :( Seems strange not to have them here. I never did get around to taking pictures of them yesterday, but I will as soon as they get back. The black one is GORGEOUS. She has such a sexy little body and her coat shines like it's been polished. :loveya:

I just got a picture of them in my head. I remember the princess phones -- one of my friends had one. I'm all cordless now, except for an old clock radio phone in the guest room ... but even that's push-button.

I love horses, too. I can't wait to ride these!

Right now, I think I'd better get dressed and get my errands done so I can come back and sleep off whatever's happening to me. I hope you have a wonderful day. Say hi to Greekspeak. :loveya:  :hi:

She said she loves to fish.
We'll enjoy day trips to all of the Keys.
Who knows maybe we'll go job hunting while we're there.

56. Fl check-in
Peace reigned last night - we left the br door open for the cat. Who'd a thunk? I guess everyone and his dog is buying fireworks for the 4th - there's a stand or tent every block selling the stuff. Last year they celebrated for days. Hope you find a treasure at the flea market.

The storms brought us a beautiful morning here. 63 degrees and a breeze from the north. I'm working at my friend's gift shop and garden center today. Tomorrow is free. :)

How've you been? I haven't caught up with you in a while!

83. Hi Clint
I just got back from shopping in town. I bought tee-shirts, socks and stuff, and some swimming shorts because yvr girl said there is an awesome pool where she lives.

:woohoo:

Wierd thing. I met a friend from Birmingham while I was out. He just happened to be here, and he said he was just thinking "this is where billyskank lives. I wonder if I will see him?" Five minutes later he saw me walking down the street.

:wtf:

Bedford isn't a big town, but it's big enough for that to be a wierd coincidence.

Especially as that was the first time I'd ever walked along the particular street where he met me.
