I got my new specs (can't wear contacts, dammit) yesterday. Those of you with good eyesight just cvan't possibly appreciate the difference a minor detail like this can make!

Here's to (now more than) once a year eye exams! :toast:--don't laugh, I'm serious!

1. That's awesome!
After some of my migrains I can't wear my glasses for a while. Trying to do anything without them is damned near impossible. I often have to stick my nose to the monitor too.

So what do the new specs look like? Are you stylin? :P

2. they're pretty dorky for me, actually, but
I'm going to take my favorite frames back to Costco (where I got these) and have them put in a new Rx.

It's just amazing to think in how bad of shape I was in--I can READ again!

3. Congrats!
I need to get my eyes fixed in a bad way. I have keratoconus (see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keratoconus ) in my left eye, and can't wait to get it corrected.

4. Damn.
Now I can't do that trick of where I push on my monitor and your monitor bops you in the nose.

But seriously, I just got a fancy new big flat screen and it looks mahvelous!

5. Had Lasik about five years ago and all of those nuisances
disappeared. I highly recommend it.
