Anyone ever use a sports mouth guard to prevent sleep bruxism
I grind my teeth in my sleep. For years I have worn a custom-made mouth guard to prevent me from doing this. When I had this one made, it cost $550. Not only does it protect my teeth, but it also protects the inside of my mouth. When I don't wear it, I get cancre sores.

In the last 2 weeks, I can't find the thing. My mouth is totally filled up w/ sores.

I thought I'd try something from a sporting goods store. I guess there are ones that you can put in warm water and mold to your mouth.

Anyone ever have an success w/ these things?

1. I had one made and lost it for a few days and so I bought a
drugstore guard. It works fine. They are a bit difficult to fit if you aren't careful they'll fold and won't fit properly. However for $20.00 it's worth it.
