Something tells me I suck at driving
So today I take another driving lession, some guy from sears picks me up and has me drive around for an hour and a half. He is realy antzy about using his break, last time at the end of the lession I was pulling into the drive way, stopped because I wasnt turning sharp enough, then I tapped on the gas a little because the car wouldnt move, unkonwen to me at the time it wouldnt move because he had his foot on the brake, and i end up getting lectured at because I pushed the gas too hard, even though it was to compensate for the fact that he had HIS FOOT ON THE BREAK.

Arg whats worse is its hot outside, heat makes me vary irratable.

2. I learned to drive at 38 years old.
For about the first five lessons I was terrified. When it came time to take my highway drive, the instructor said I was "too skittish" and he wanted to wait a few more lessons to get me up to speed. This irritated me so much that I squelched my fear and took on a whole new attitude. Within a few more lessons my instructor told me I'd gone from one of his worst drivers to his best.

Don't worry - give yourself time and you will become better used to both driving and your driving instructor. He sounds like a bit of an ass. I learned in the summer heat too, and you're right, it adds to the stress. Good luck.

4. My instructor did the same thing,
but in my case I think he was trying to ease my nerves. Try the "fuck it" approach... just get in there and boldly drive. You will be fine!

5. Don't worry about it.
Took me 3 tries to finally get my driver's license.

9. Excellent!
I suspected you would. It took me forever to understand where my car was and how to park w/in the lines. I still can't parallel park without great effort.
