I mean the only reason I was support this whole gay marriage thing was I figured if our world would accept same-sex union marriages then perhaps, one day the world would accept me and the love of my snake.

This is Petie - my pet snake



We love each other and one day hope that we too can share the same bonds & commitments that all you straight people take for granted. But because Petie is a snake, I am shamed in our world. This is not lust, but an undying commitment between a girl and her reptilian d'amore.

And damn, now the Wall Street Journal editor has figured it out - it was never about same sex marriage but just for us reptilisexuals to finally be at peace with the rest of the world and to no longer hide the love we have for our snakes.

It's a ridiculous wedge-issue. And, oddly... the few Republicans IRL that I can stomach are completely "liberal" in this regard. My boss is a die-hard Catholic, Republican, strongly opposed to abortion (yes, we argue about this) and "all-for" torture (we have MAJOR issues with this one)... but he is ALL for same-sex marriages and is livid that this is an issue. Weird.
