Any NHL Fans in DU Land?
I am a huge hockey fan and cannot believe how Carolina has folded in the last two games. If Edmonton gets the cup it will be well deserved. They have been brutal with their skating/team skills, especially last night. I was embarrassed for the Canes. Oh well we always have Monday night. Its been a great playoff run regardless. I have really enjoyed it.

2. Hey now!
I am not going to let you watch hockey with me anymore young man if you keep up that negative attitude. LOL! The Canes just couldn't hear me screaming at the TV. They will be back in the states on Monday, they will be able to hear me better. :)

5. They've folded big
time. They better get their act together. It was good to see Cole playing again. Go Canes!

8. The hit Cole took
in the first minutes of the first period made me cringe. Glad he is back and skating as well as he is. Lets hope the Canes can pull themselves out of this rut and get the Cup.

6. As a Calgary Flames fan...
it cuts me to the quick to cheer for Edmonton. But my Canadian pride overcomes my Flames fandom.... Go Oil Go! Bring the cup home!

10. If The Oilers
bring home the Cup there are going to be some awesome parties in the streets of Canada. I can only wish to see something like that. The U.S. likes hockey, but Canadians...they live and breathe hockey. What an amazing moment the Oilers winning the Cup would be. :)

It was nuts when they made the playoffs. EVERYBODY in Edmonton had a flag on their car or a window flyer; the businesses all had signs in the windows. Whyte Avenue was crazy. We went into a Chapters that had had a couple of the windows busted.

We watched the 2nd and 3rd games and cringed. It wasn't pretty after Rolofson got injured.

Glad to see they've rebounded.

Oi- LERZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13. .
:P

I don't even want to imagine the racket if they do win it.

Hell, I could barely hear my (inside) music last night due to all the car horns and yelling...and I'm on a quiet street in suburbia.

7. I'm loving this series even though my Avs are long gone
They are very well matched and IMO are currently playing like the two best teams in the league. They both deserve the game 7.

The Oilers powerplay is nothing short of amazing, they have the most crisp passing skills I've ever seen. I think the Oilers will take game 7, 3-1.

9. I think the Oilers
will take game 7 as well honestly. The game they played last night was nothing short of amazing. Cam Ward even looked dazed at the end of the game, and he has been pretty hard to rattle during the playoffs.

12. I'm a casual fan but my brother is a hock-a-holic if you will
but the Edmonton PP has been unwatchable for the most part. It has shown a little improvement but less Pronger jacks from 50 feet, please...

14. Rootin' for the Canes here - mostly since Brind'Amour and Recchi
were former Flyers, and we're in the same time zone (really scientific, huh?).

16. Yes!
I'm a Flyers fan. Now that Clarke has figured out that the new rules favor speed and that the refs will enforce the new rules, maybe we'll have a Cup run.

Nice to see a thread out in GP, though.
