i crashed my bike today

this is what i get for using bike rides for stress management. i was pissed, cut too close to the bushes, and got some branches tangled in my wheel. landed on my hip and my elbow. got a real nasty bruise on my hip, and my whole left side is sore. maybe next time i will try talking. argh.

firm believer in taking them before shit starts to hurt. pain meds tend to backfire on me, tho.
got a whirlpool filled and waiting for me, too. cool one tho. it is hot as hell here today.

the bike is okay. i went on riding. it is a cheap little bike that i bought last year, used. nice lil huffy. i wasn't sure if i would keep riding, as my health is shaky. it has stayed pretty good, and i have sure gotten my $35 worth out of the bike. both as exercise and as therapy.
i'm thinking next year i might get myself a nice one. i could use a more comfortable bike. but i like this one cuz it is compact, easy to schlep up stairs, etc.
