Happy-Happy...Joy-Joy.. there's a For Sale sign on my neighbor's house
Edited on Sat Jun-17-06 02:43 AM by SoCalDem
I pray it sells FAST.. They are the LOUDEST people on earth. half the time when it;s nice I cannot leave my windows and doors open to get fresh air, because they SCREAM AT THE TOP OF THIR LUNGS IN THE FRONT YARD ALL DAY LONG.. (not angry screaming, just yelling)

and they INSIST on barbequeing in the FRONT YARD..

The fence between our houses got all ratty, so they used their OLD GARAGE DOOR to replace a section of fence.. I hope the realtor makes them take it down and go halves with us on a real fence.. We paid the whole price for the one that's old,. and I refuse to do that again.. THEY have a dog..we don't..

there must be 10 people living there and they did do an illegal addition, so that may hang up a sale .. I hope not..

the odd thing is.. they are nice people, and I don;t hate them.. I just long for some peace and quiet :)

2. That's great. I can certainly sympathize...
...a couple of years ago, we had a arian nation family across the street from us, complete with their skinhead teenagers, with the confederate flag pasted to the back window of their cars. Real classy crew, those neighbors. When they put that "for sale" sign up in their yard, I was ready to throw a party. Now they are long gone. Oh, happy day! :-)

3. Why don't you buy it?
That way you can fix it up, rent it out?

4. I hear you
We're moving because our neighborhood is unbearable. The kids run amok screaming at the top of their lungs, riding their bikes over everybody's' lawns, bouncing their balls of peoples' cars, tromping through peoples' yards (including with their rollerblades). Two of the worst offenders belong to the couple across the street. The father typically sits outside when the kids are out playing, ostensibly to supervise them, but he does nothing to monitor their behavior. One day the girl rammed her bike into my neighbor's SUV yet the father said and did nothing, even though he saw that my roomie witnessed the entire thing. The past week the kids have been playing basketball every night for hours, which means they often end up chasing the ball over to our side of the street and onto our sidewalk. Just last night our sidewalk had several chunks breaking off along one edge. Was it them? Maybe, maybe not. All I know is the sidewalk had no cracks prior to that.

So now that we're moving within a month or two guess what--they've put their house up for sale! :banghead:

6. Indeed
Especially now that school has let out. I'm a day sleeper and it's hard to sleep when kids are running around screaming and thunking basket balls in the street outside my window all day.
