3. Me too...

My daughter's in it and I'm slowly losing my mind. When she starts though, I, like, hold up my hands and, like, start raising my fingers, like, every times she, like, says, "like," and she, like, gets the message.

And now I rarely get more than three fingers raised before she either realizes she's doing it or stops talking about whatever 'hot boy' she's rambling about at the time, and rambles away....

The only thing that preserves my sanity is that I only have one daughter and, while she's 'that' age now, she won't always be. The boys don't do things like that. There's no 'like' or 'whatever' (that one makes me see red) with them.

2. I hate the way people use the word like....

It is ironic, in a way, in that usually the the comparision that follows "like", as used by the archtypical "Valley Girl", is meaningless....

Or is it implied....
