I was told on Pogo.com (game site) I was going to hell for being gay

This cruel man told me that being gay was an abomination to God and I was going to hell, on pogo.com

I looked and in his profile he spouts off "let's all pray (you too liberals)" and other idiocy, and says he's been "hannitized" (barf, so sacrilegious), and is a 'bill o'reilly listener so go screw yourself you pinko commie liberals' or some crap like that......

his user name is OoOoONoDataOoOoO if you want to go to pogo.com and look at his profile and cowboy cartoon image he made for his profile, and write him a message.

I told him, "how dare you judge me, I am a Christian, don't need to prove it to you, and your hatred is shameful, so shut up!", I said Jesus was compassionate and loving and he didn't represent what Christ teaches. He said I was speaking blasphemy, then left and everyone told me "what a weirdo!" and other similar stuff, I of course said, yep - another bush fanatic.

I felt really bad, I don't like being mocked for being gay, it's about the 10000th time but it never gets old, lol, but when he attacked lesbians by saying to a lady in the room who he thought (it was someone else - big suprise - he can't read) said "my wife" and he quickly typed to her and said, "your wife? you a lesbian", she just typed "no". And he went, "oh sorry to impugn your character", and I said, "why would you insult her by thinking she was lesbian?" and he said the abomination crap.

Jesus said "two men shall be in one bed, one shall be taken, the other left" when referring to the rapture, so I try to ignore their rudeness. If you don't believe in Christianity promises, I'm just talking about how one of the right winger nut cakes treats even those that claim faith, they are so unaccepting of differences. I don't "tolerate" other's difference in faiths, opinions, I accept.

Anyhow, just wanted to vent somewhere...

3. Vent here. I share your anger, even if I can't quite relate to your

frustration. As someone who can almost always smooth over a dispute if I want to, by finding some common ground with just about anyone without having to compromise, I can't fully relate to how frustrating it must be to have such hatred directed at me, in a way that can't be smoothed over. Sorry you go through this. Just remember the infamous words, "judge not, lest you be judged," and know that you are on the right side of that equation. You are certainly more Christian than the judgemental hypocrite you met.

You know, this really pisses me off. Jesus covered a lot of topics in the four gospels, and gee...not one of them was whether someone was gay.

He does, however, mention love, peace, and all other things the "hannitized" don't seem to understand. I wonder how many of them have read the gospels at all.

Sorry you have to deal with that...it must be such a pain in the ass to have to deal with people passing judgment on you just because they feel like it. I'm sure you don't stop people in the street and start slagging them out of nowhere, it's a shame people feel they can do it to you. :hug:
