Welcome to the Thursday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread! :bounce: We made it over the hump day, and so now it's clear sailing to the weekend! I hope you had a good day yesterday. I spent mine at work getting ready for our Regional Director visit today, so she can see how the store doesn't really look at all other times. :rofl: Luckily, I only have to be there long enough to meet her and discuss a few things and then I can leave. :woohoo: I'll let you know how it goes in the morning. The picture of her that's been painted to me is that of a heartless, uncaring, sadistic, tyrant. So, we'll see.

I start my vacation after Saturday's shift! :bounce::woohoo: I really can't wait for THAT day, let me just tell you! I don't have any plans. I'm not going to take a trip to Missouri. I'm just going to relax, have fun and take a few day trips. It's going to be great! :bounce:

31. I have ADD (Attention Deficit) so when I...

zone out and mess something up due to not paying attention, I say that "I ADDed it." I once even ADDed my ADD.

Basically "ADD Scrambled Eggs" mean that I (despite being intent on making them scrambled, because I'm on a weird scrambled egg kick) just dropped egg #1 into the pan, then realized I needed to scramble it to make scrambled eggs. I managed to grab a bowl and slide it into there before it set though. Cracked in egg #2, scrambled them and the rest of the process went relatively smoothly.

My MacBook came yesterday, but I've been too busy to even open up the box! :wow: I'm afraid I'll be in Mac-land for days on end once I start playing with it, so I'll just have to wait.

The guest room is ready for you. I stayed up until 2:00 AM putting it together. The landlord is coming over today to check things out. And it seems that the owners are motivated to do some other things and she wants to take pictures of what's already done. I'll have to admit, it's looking pretty darn good!

Today we unpack all the pictures and mirrors. :scared: The boxes look OK, but I'll feel better knowing they all made it OK. And harleydad has to make a run to the "convenience center" to get rid of some extra trash. We were spoiled in Boca -- they'd take whatever was out at the curb. They'll only take what's in the bin here, which amounts to about three garbage bags. While he's out, maybe he'll get some food ... our cupboard is BARE ... well, except for some kitty rabbit. :9

Well, the landlord and owner aren't the same person. Now that it's fixed up, the landlord has convinced the owner that they can charge more rent after we leave. That has them all motivated and now the owner wants to put down tile floors in the bathrooms. That would be nice, but I sure would like to have a break from the mess. Fortunately, the handyman is on vacation. :D

No milk for breakfast? Hmmm ... that can be a problem. I think we have some of that. But nothing for lunch or supper. Speaking of breakfast, harleydad is headed out for some. So I guess I'll be going. Oh, he says hi, by the way. :hi:
