Poll question: My first poll
I'm a superman freak, and if you read some of my posts, you will be bombarded with proof of that. Superman, is my guy, but I have seen superman lose a lot of polls, and tonight I'm testing a theory...

If you could choose, which superheroes powers, to have, which one would you choose?

I would, choose superman!(no duh huh?) The power of flight, strength, xray vision(yeah, i'm a little bit of a pervert too!), and having all those abilites, would be sweet....so, decide, which superheroes powers, do you crave, envy?

I have, a list, and if you don't agree with my list, there is the "Other" option....

Thank you for participating, in my very first, DU poll...

6. hmm...Diana...;)
I have gotten into Wonderwoman, since Kingdome Come, by Alex Ross, her portrayl, was very good. I never thought of WW to be a major player, but in that comic, was she AWESOME...biggest surprise of that whole graphic novel/novelization...:)

7. Doctor Who is ...
a Time Lord from the distant planet of Gallifrey. He goes through space and time in a TARDIS, which is shaped like a UK police phone box. He is able to 'regenerate' rather than die, but he is mortal. He just lives a long time, that's all.

Here's a FAQ for more info:

28. Actually the Doctor's TARDIS is only shaped like a police box because
its chameleon device is crapped out and it cannot make itself look like anything else. Really it should be able to assume any form so as to blend in with its surroundings.

Do I get any points for knowing that TARDIS stands for time and relative dimensions in space?

19. Sandman
Dream (The Sandman) from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series would be my choice. If I was restricted to "traditional" superheroes, then I'd choose Collasus. He can turn his entire body into metal- and he's super strong. Not as cool as Dream, though.

24. Uh, they are nowhere near Godlike.... I am using a different concept
of god, you see. Not the interventionist but the pre-axiomic infinity.

25. what do you mean
pre-axiomic infinity? all the heroes i posted in your above post, can make/produce matter, and create life, and can create anything they can think/dream/wish....Silver/Glactus, are tops as far as intellect goes, but if you want all intellect/knowledge, than its Spectre

26. Are you aware how easy it is to create matter and life? Nothing special.
All things are equal in comparison to infinity, remember? (ie Galactus is a lot less than god)

Sheesh.

21. Voted other
because I always wanted the power to turn invisible.
I could walk into movies, concerts, bars, sporting events and amusement parks for free.

I could walk into a bank and give myself a loan.

And of course I'm going to say it, don't get mad ladies because any guy who say's he wouldn't do this with being able to turn invisible is lying, I would walk into women's dressing rooms. flame away

27. Superman can kiss my frail, mortal, non-bulletproof ASS!
Pretty darn easy to play 'superhero' when you're frickin' INVULNERABLE!
A damn nuclear bomb barely musses his hair, and I'm supposed
to be all "impressed" when he stops a few bullets?

Pfft!

The Bat-Man...now THERE'S a seriously IMPRESSIVE individual!!!

He's got no "super powers" beyond his super-twisted, very
unhealthy mental/emotional FIXATION upon punishing evildoers.

Superman is an overgrown boyscout who is incapable of even
understanding the CONCEPT of "personal risk", because he can't
ever actually experience so much as a hangnail.

Bruce Wayne is just a man.
A very mortal, very vulnerable, VERY SERIOUSLY DISTURBED man
who has recognized his personal problems,
and hugs them to his breast as the only familiar things he has ever known.

A man who has used his INTELLECT to understand and ACCEPT his own
personal neurosis and psychosis;
and then moved past mere 'understanding' to actually
HARNESS the incredible POWER of his overwhelming personal death-wish,
and uses it to help the 'helpless' who remind him so much
of his true, long-lost self.
