We need a way to hide threads en masse

Like put a checkbox on every thread on the forum page, and then, if one was of a desire (as I often am) to hide, say, twenty threads, or whatever number, one could simply check all the boxes then hit the "hide checked threads" button and voila, all done.

Instead of hiding them one at a time, being taken to another page from which one then has to go back to the forum page and do it all over again.

They could well have done - I really wouldn't be bothered if they had either. I just want the whole wretched affair to go away.

or, really anything that doesn't interest me - it could be helpful to have a "Automatically hide threads with this codeword" option.
