First you get the money. Then you get the power. Then you get the girl.
Then you get half of it taken away from you.

Score one for Oasis.

1. That's what happens when you want a hot young thing.
Paul was married for years to Linda, who had money of her own, for starters.
When she died, I bet dollars to donuts he started to feel old and boring and sad. So what did he do? Rushed into something with some hot young blonde. And, you pays your money, you takes your chances.

I'm not exactly sad for him, he's still got more money than he could possibly ever use.

2. thanks for that
since she's my age. It's nice to know that at my age one can be considered a 'hot young blonde', lol.

Has anyone seen her porn that just came out yet?

3. Linda was not from the Eastman-Kodak family.
I'm not sure if that is what you meant by "money of her own," but that is a commom myth. From Wikipedia:

"It is often stated that Linda McCartney is related to the Eastman Kodak dynasty. This is a myth and McCartney had no connection with the family, as she herself explained in an interview. Her maiden name of Eastman was an anglicised version of her family's original name, Epstein, coincidentally the same surname as the Beatles' long-time manager Brian."

4. That was a nice try.
There is no Eastman-Kodak family to be from, because Eastman and Kodak are two separate names. That is like a trick question, only it is a trick statement instead.

From the same article:

Before her marriage to Paul McCartney, she was a professional photographer in the rock and roll scene, and served as the house photographer for the Fillmore East in New York City.

As we know, Eastman-Kodak made photographic film.

Paul must have been very insecure about his talents to try to marry into money as he did.

Oasis has never been insecure. They are, as a matter of fact, known for there lack of insecurity.

Score one for Oasis.

5. OK, I realize they are separate families. But most people associate
the film company with Kodak these days. Anyway, what part of this wasn't clear?

6. Anyone can put things in Wikipedia.
Once I was reading an article about some kind of architecture, and right in the middle of it it said "Deez nutz".

BTW, Linda McCartney was a professional photographer.

Cameras use photographic film.

I have photographic cameras AND photographic film.

Therefore, I am Linda McCartney.
